Basic Function


The First Power OBC converts single-phase alternating current into direct current while establishing galvanic isolation between the public AC grid and the industrial fleet's DC system. This setup facilitates battery charging while ensuring the safety of both grids. The charging process is managed through CAN, with the charger adjusting current and voltage according to signals received from the CAN interface. As a protective measure, if the unit does not receive CAN signals for approximately 0.2 seconds, it interrupts the charging process to prevent potential damage to the battery. This feature enhances the reliability and longevity of the battery system in electric industrial applications.
