Basic Function
The First Power OBC transforms 1-phase and 3-phase alternating current into direct current and provides galvanic isolation between the public AC grid and the DC system of the industrial fleet. This allows for charging the battery on one hand, and on the other hand ensures the safety of both grids. Battery charging is controlled by CAN, charger limits current and voltage to the values received by CAN. If for a certain time (ca. 0.2s) no such signals are received, the unit interrupts the charge in order to protect the battery
